The Avocado Zest is delicious. It has a fresh, lemon taste.  I drizzle it on my salads. I recommend it to anyone who wants a high quality oil with a hint of citrus for salads and fish.

Turkey Lettuce Wraps

2 lbs ground turkey
1 small onion, diced
1 red pepper, diced
1 can water chestnuts, diced
1 green onion, sliced thin
2 Tbsp avocado oil
2 cloves of garlic, mashed
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1/2 cup hoisin sauce
2 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
sriracha hot chili sauce- to taste.


Heat 1 Tbsp of the avocado oil in a large skillet, and gently cook the onion, red pepper and water chestnuts for about 5 minutes. Remove from pan, add remaining avocado oil and cook the ground turkey at a medium high heat level. In a measuring cup mix garlic, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, vinegar and chili sauce, add to turkey mixture and mix thoroughly. Top with green onion.

Serves well with lettuce leaves and/or rice.
