The Avocado Zest is delicious. It has a fresh, lemon taste.  I drizzle it on my salads. I recommend it to anyone who wants a high quality oil with a hint of citrus for salads and fish.

Although the market nowadays is flooded with oils, creams, lotions and numerous skin care products, when it comes to personalized skin care, not all can be relied upon. Most of these products contain artificial ingredients and harmful chemicals that may prove hazardous for your skin. If you are genuinely concerned about your skin and want it to glow with health and radiance, use Avocado oil which has a plethora of benefits.

Avocado oil is obtained from the tree known as Persea Americana. Unlike most vegetable oils that are derived from seeds, avocado oil is extracted from the fleshy pulp of the Avocado fruit. Though Avocado is native to the Caribbean coast of Mexico, and was apparently known to pre-Incan people of present-day Peru, today it is grown in California, Australia, New Zealand and Kenya.

Avocado is exceptionally high in Vitamin E, Vitamin A, natural emulsifier, lecithin and anti-oxidants that help in maintaining a youthful looking skin. Vitamin E and Vitamin A are antioxidant vitamins that destroy the free radicals. This damage makes the skin appear older, Vitamin A and Vitamin E help to kill the free radicals that cause these damages to the skin.

Avocado oil is rich in natural antioxidants that help in reversing the natural aging process. You can fight back the visible signs of aging such as wrinkles, fine lines, dark spots, laughter lines and acne by consuming or applying Avocado oil. It makes your skin look young and beautiful for years.  Avocado oil also contains vitamin D that has several potential health benefits for the skin.

Apart from the natural skin benefits, Avocado oil has several other health benefits too. Avocado oil is sodium free, cholesterol free, and does not contain trans-fats. Avocado oil is versatile and multi-purpose and undoubtedly the healthiest cooking oil for dressings, preparing sauces and even for frying. The presence of Plant Sterols, Alpha Carotene and Beta Carotene in the Avocado oil further adds to its health benefits, making it an ideal choice for health-conscious people.
